"We have been wanting to set aside some time to write to you about the Uptones and if we are honest, we don't even know where to start. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The singer was incredible - everybody commented on her fantastic voice and crowd interaction. I had such an amazing time dancing with her (I am sorry that I can't remember names). The guys were brilliant on guitar etc and so friendly, speaking to us in between sets. Everybody felt included and so many people have commented that the choice of songs was 'spot on'. I don't think there was ever an empty dancefloor and I for one did not leave it! Every song was one that people could relate to and the performance of Zombie towards the end of the night just topped it off for us. We will remember that moment forever.
The venue said to me the following day that the bar staff had asked who the band were and commented that they were one of, if not the best, band they had ever seen play at the venue which was so lovely to hear.
We also cannot thank you enough Irving for all of your help with booking the band and ensuring that everything ran so smoothly. You have been incredibly professional throughout, reassuring and swift at responding. We will without a doubt shout out about your business to our friends and family.

"The Uptones were absolutely incredible! From start to finish they had the best vibe, they had our guests up dancing and singing which was what we wanted and really got the crowd going. All of the band members were incredible. They even did an extra song at the end of the night on my request. I cannot recommend The Uptones enough, they were everything we hoped for and more. I was in my element. Thank you for making the journey over to the Isle of Wight and being such an amazing part of our wedding "

Here’s some of our most frequently asked questions. For more specific enquiries, please just give us a shout, we want to hear from you!
Do you provide all your own equipment?
Yes, all we need is a clear area in which to set up and a power supply.
Will you be able to do my first dance?
Given enough notice, yes. It takes a while for us to rehearse a song to the high standards that we set ourselves. If you can give us at least 8 weeks notice, that should be fine. The song also has to be suitable for a band. If we cant do it justice then we can put it on an iPod and then go seamlessly into our set at the end of it.
What do you wear?
We tend to be 'smart casual' as in our pictures and video. However we can be smarter or more casual depending on your event and requirements.
Are you insured?
Yes. Our manager will send your venue any certification that's required.
Can you work with sound limiters?
Yes. We dont 'like' them but we absolutely can work with them.

Energetic, fun, professional and experienced. UpTones have been working together since 2014 having formed at BIMM (British and Irish Institute of Modern Music). Since then they have gone from strength to strength, having secured weekly and monthly residencies across Bristol, as well as European tours. They have performed at countless weddings, private parties and corporate events for the likes of Rolls Royce, Ibis and Bristol City Football Club, just to name a few.
With a repertoire spanning across the decades, they are sure to prove a hit with all age ranges and will keep guests on the dance floor all night long thanks to their seemingly endless levels of energy.
UpTones normally offer 2 x 60 minute or 3 x 45 minute sets but are flexible and willing to accommodate for your needs. They provide their own PA system and lighting rig along with complementary background party music between each set so you have entertainment covering your whole event.
The band have versatility and energy in bucket loads and are fronted by a fantastic powerhouse female lead vocalist who is comfortable with singing all styles.
You can also add an optional manned DJ service and/or acoustic daytime entertainment from the band, perfect for drinks receptions and ceremonies - just enquire for fees and information about these options.
